About the Role: As a Driver at RIDE (formerly BYD), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our electric commercial vehicles. You will be responsible for conducting various road tests on our commercial electric vehicles, including performance, durability, and safety tests. You will also be responsible for transporting our vehicles within the plant and other location while in various stages of productions. Your work will directly impact the quality of our products and the satisfaction of our customers. Minimum Qualifications: Valid commercial driver's license (class A or B, endorsements preferred) Clean driving record Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Preferred Qualifications: Experience in automotive testing or related field Experience with data acquisition and analysis tools Experience with electric vehicles Responsibilities: Conduct various road tests on our vehicles, including performance, durability, and safety tests Collaborate with engineering and design teams to provide feedback Maintain and ensure the safety of the test vehicles and equipment Follow all safety protocols and procedures Other production related tasks as assigned in between drives Skills: As a Driver, you will utilize your driving skills to conduct various road tests on our commercial electric vehicles. You will need to have strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions to ensure accurate and reliable test results. You will also need to have strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with our engineering and design teams.
