Project Manager

Job Title: Project ManagerJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of packaging and processing system projects from estimation and justification through installation, start-up, and closeout. This role involves understanding process systems, utility, packaging systems, equipment procurement, project installation, and start-up. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering projects on budget and schedule, managing complex scopes, and supervising contractors.Responsibilities+ Lead a team of professionals in the design and construction of large-scale industrial projects.+ Manage projects in various phases from conceptual planning through design, construction, and occupancy.+ Effectively plan and manage project execution, resource allocations, and schedules.+ Coordinate internally and manage relationships with clients and contractors.+ Estimate project costs and oversee budget management.+ Organize and prioritize tasks based on customer needs and project requirements.+ Oversee the installation and commissioning of mechanical and control systems.+ Travel 25-35% of the time for client relationships and business development.Essential Skills+ 3+ years of experience in project management.+ Strong understanding of process systems, utility, and packaging systems.+ Experience with equipment procurement and project installation.+ Proficiency in project engineering and management.+ Excellent communication and organizational skills.+ Ability to articulate thoughts clearly and effectively.Additional Skills & Qualifications+ Background in engineering, general contracting, or subcontracting (mechanical a plus).+ Experience with automation and baggage handling systems.+ PMP license is a bonus.+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer knowledge.+ Familiarity with Bluebeam is a plus.+ Strong social skills and client interface experience.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is dynamic, with a focus on team collaboration and a more social atmosphere.
