EIS Modernization - KAAS Software Senior Principal EngineerOur Kubernetes as a Service team ensures that our internal customers have the container platform needed for hosting workloads in a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and an Openshift Container platform used for hosting production applications, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSpaces. We oversee product development at all stages: planning, designing, developing and testing infrastructure, hypervisors, container platform, clusters, namespaces, databases, and embedded management and networking devices using a GitOps model.Join us to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact as a Software Senior Principal Engineer on our EIS KAAS Team in Durham, North Carolina.What you'll achieveAs a Software Senior Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for scaling our existing KAAS platform to enable multi-site resiliency for our most critical workloads and enable users across the company to onboard to it improving uptime, performance, and scalability. You will work with Product Development and DevOps team members on workload migrations to improve developer productivity and enable AI to change how we operate.You will plan build, and support an environment consisting of:Physical HW managementVirtualization (VMware based)Container Platform (Redhat Openshift based)IP Networking and SAN (Dell PowerSwitch and Brocade)Treat infrastructure as code with our GitOps modelTake the first step towards your dream careerEvery Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table.
