Equipment Operator IIIPublic Services - Street Division Alvin, TX, USA 20.82 per hour Hourly Full Time The City of Alvin offers an excellent benefit package including a voluntary Mission Square 457 deferred compensation program and membership in the Texas Municipal Retirement System (TMRS). Job Announcement: Under direction, leads subordinate personnel in the performance of street, storm drainage and/or street sign maintenance and repair duties. Performs general maintenance, routine and emergency repair work, heavy machinery operation and other work to accomplish daily assignments; performs related work as required. Ensures all work is conducted according to City and department policy, codes and standards of quality. The incumbent must be able to perform duties according to detailed instructions with adherence to prescribed standards and procedures. Reports to the Street Supervisor. Minimum Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or GED supplemented by up to two years of previous experience in street maintenance and/or heavy equipment operations, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Special Requirements Must possess a valid class "B" CDL state driver's license. Salary: Starting Salary $20.82
