HVAC- Laboratory Technician I

Scope of Position: Works under the direction and supervision of the Laboratory Manager in support of new product development and existing product improvement projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: List what the person must do to perform the job to meet standards. Configures test stations and prepare product for internal testing (includes water, drain, fuel, vent and electrical connections) Ascertains gauge and instrument calibration status Maintains orderly work environment Adheres to laboratory safety policies Performs other similar or related duties as required or requestedPosition Requirements: The Laboratory Technician I must possess the minimum knowledge listed below: High School diploma Basic mechanical aptitude and a fundamental understanding of electrical circuits and basic safety devices Ability to work flexible hours based on workload, projects, changes in schedules etc. Have reliable transportation to and from work Ability to use computer software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Must also be creative, flexible and an innovative team player
