Tradesmen - HVAC Entry level

Marshall's Specialty Services is a well-respected HVAC company serving Lane County, OR since 1948. We currently have openings for entry level candidates who are interested in building their skills, and a career in the HVAC industry. This is an entry level position where you will be performing basic preventive maintenance and duct cleaning in residential settings. We will provide you with the training to succeed in this position, and opportunities to develop your skills to advance. In fact, we expect it, and will help you get there! The ideal candidate will have some experience working with tools, putting things together, working on vehicles, computers, or have other applicable experience indicating a mechanical or technical ability. Pay Range: $18 - $24 per hour, depending on your experience and knowledge. Once your training is complete you'll have the opportunity to participate in an incentive program based on your truck revenue and other key metrics . Work hours: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Friday (Overtime and Evenings on occasion during peak seasons) Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance - 100% of employee-based premiums are paid by the company! Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals. Duties and Responsibilities: Acquire EPA Certification before vehicle assignment Acquire LP Certification within 6 months of hire date Acquire Water Heater Installer license within 12 months of hire date Checking and cleaning HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings to ensure they are operating safely and to manufacturer's specifications. Develop skills to perform preventative maintenance on residential or commercial systems utilizing maintenance checklist Attend trainings and meet training requirements as set by the company Inform and educate customers of replacement options, additional services, and benefits of company services following company guidelines Develop basic knowledge of electrical and refrigeration principles Document work with written notes, forms, and photos in software program Operate company vehicle safely, obeying all traffic laws Follow all safety protocols to protect yourself, the property, and the HVAC system during the cleaning process. Maintain constant communication and follow instructions from supervisors, dispatchers and work order description notes to carry out work in a timely manner Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times Arrive at the job site at scheduled time and location as dispatched 1svMrc2geA
