Travel Radiation Therapist

American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a hospital-based position requiring a KY Radiation Therapist license and the ability to accurately treat patients per physician prescription in a day-shift setting.Job Details• Day shift schedule, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 5x8-hour shifts,• 36 or 40 hours/week contract options available,• On-call required approximately 1 week out of every 8-10 weeks, depending on staffing needs,Job Requirements• Active KY Radiation Therapist (T) state license required prior to start; candidates with a KY license pending will be considered,• Current BLS certification required,• ARRT certification required,• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration,• License required if applicable,Additional Information• Accurately and efficiently treat patients according to physician prescriptions, ensuring correct treatment and safety for all involved,• Responsible for accurate and timely documentation of daily patient treatments,• Performs daily QA and warm-up on treatment machines,• Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position,• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before being eligible to return as a traveler,
