Radiation Therapist Location: Lexington, KY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,906 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position Job Title: Radiation Therapist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Radiation Therapy Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty required License: Kentucky Radiation Therapist (T) state license required prior to start. Certifications: BLS, ARRT T, ARRT Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Description: Willing to consider candidates with a pending Kentucky license. Must obtain Kentucky Radiation Therapist (T) state license before the start date. Call required one week out of every 8-10 weeks depending on staffing needs. Duties include accurately and efficiently treating patients according to physician prescriptions. This includes every aspect that goes into correct patient treatment. Always ensures the safety of everyone involved. Accurately and timely records daily patient treatments. Performs daily quality assurance and warmup on the treatment machine. 36 or 40 hours per week contracts available. Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted. Candidates will float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. Compliance includes a BLS skills checklist for radiation therapists and a background check. Candidates must have ARRT certification and a state license. Special equipment experience may include custom molds, block cutting, and treatment simulation. Candidates should be familiar with billing for treatment types and devices. Experience with various imaging techniques is preferred. Must be prepared for potential call responsibilities.
