This is the first marketing hire at a company that grew without marketing, and you will define the playbook, set the standard, and decide how the brand shows up everywhere: positioning, narrative, voice, press strategy, and clinician engagement. You work directly with the founders on strategy and execution, with zero existing structure and full autonomy over budget and tools. In 12 months, success looks like the client being unmistakable in target markets, recognized as a point of view that cuts through noise, and deeply understood by clinicians and partners in every region you enter.What You'll OwnOwn the client's brand positioning, narrative, and voice from day one; set the standard that carries forward as thecompany scalesWrite everything that matters: product launches, positioning statements, day-to-day communication, andpress-facing materialsDecide how the client reaches clinicians in ways that actually land; own the go-to-market strategy for each new regionWork directly with founders on how the company is understood externally, translating product clarity intocompelling narrativeBuild and lead the marketing function as it grows; shape what the team becomes over the next 18 to 24monthsDesign repeatable marketing systems and playbooks that don't require you to be the bottleneckRequirementsMust-Have: 3 to 5 years of marketing experience at a scaling company (Series A or later startup preferred), where you led marketing from an early stage and built it outProven ability to own brand-building and narrative strategy end-to-end; can articulate what makes a company different and why it mattersProduct-obsessed: you go deep on how things work and why users love them, not just messaging layers High agency and extreme ownership; comfortable shipping without a playbook and defining direction as you goB2C consumer marketing background or track record (not B2B); Client's marketing targets consumers, not enterprisesBenefits & Perks:Meaningful early-stage equityFull ownership of marketing and brandReal impact on clinician decision-makingRelocation support availableO-1A and H-1B sponsorship available
