We are a united team of hard working, supportive, genuine life long learners who practice in excellence and strive to help individuals make breakthroughs in achieving their mental health goals and leading healthier more balanced lives.Direct Service Workers who work in the Psychiatric Rehabilitative Program (PRP) will deliver community-based services in Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Harford County.DSW's who work in PRP will work with minors ages 5-17 and adults who have priority population diagnosis age 18 and up. DSWs who work in PRP must support clients via Rehabilitation Assessments, Individualized Rehabilitation Plans, Leadership Skills Development and Education, Life Skills Development and Education, Social Skills Development and Education, Conflict Management Skills Development, Physical Health Maintenance and Diet Management, Medication Management Education, Education and Vocation Skills Development, and Behavior Management Skills Development and Education.Compensation & Structure:This is a 1099 contractor role. Compensation is task-based and paid upon completion of required services, documentation, and training. A full breakdown of the compensation structure will be provided during onboarding.Adult clients recieve 6 one hour visits per month - $250 per clientMinor clients receive 3-4 one hour visits per month - $125 per clientDirect Services:Complete 3-4 visits per month for minors or 6 visits per month for adults receiving PRP services in officeEngage clients in developing and maintaining therapeutic relationshipsAssist clients in creating daily structure that includes opportunities for developing skills necessary for healthy functioning in the communityImplement health promotion and education, therapeutic recreation, cultural enrichment, and independent living skills development activitiesAssist with the development and implementation of rehabilitation, health homes, and therapeutic behavioral plansAssist clients with developing and maintaining social support networksMonitor client engagement in servicesConnect clients to behavioral and somatic health care services in the communityAble to juggle multiple families/youth, documentation, scheduling, and deadlines.Comfortable communicating with clients, caregivers, providers, and internal team members.Able to assess needs, prioritize services, and creatively problem-solve barriers to care.Can navigate EHR systems, maintain accurate documentation, and understands the importance of timely documentation and compliance with program standardsWilling to work with multiple systems (schools, courts, therapists, etc.) and contribute to a larger care team.Deep understanding of trauma-informed care and working with diverse, underserved populations.Provide emergency crisis intervention and conflict management to identified clients and familiesHas community connections (already knows local resources and providers)Passion for long-term growth and leadership in the organizationUtilize our electronic health record to schedule visits and intakes and to complete documentationParticipate in weekly supervision and/or training opportunitiesWilling to drive clients to and from Saturday group sessions and to certain activitesDocumentation:Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.Document all interactions, assessments, and care plans according to agency standards.Submit all documentation by specified deadlines and communicate any difficulties in doing so.Coordination:Coordinate with community resources and service providers.Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure their needs are met.Collaborate with each client's various treatment providers on a regular basis.Supervision:Participate in monthly supervision sessionsAttend a company staff meeting every quarterAttend a general staff meeting on a quarterly basis.Attend clinical training sessions when required.Qualifications:High School Diploma , Bachelors in Mental Health industry preferred2 years experience in Mental Health Industry, PRP experience preferredAbility to obtain DLA-20Familiarity with youth and family systems, behavioral health, and community resource navigationSuperior time management skillsReliable and current auto insurance (State minimum for Maryland).Valid Maryland Driver's license.Active Professional Liability Insurance.CPR/ First Aid Certification.Position RequirementsEOE StatementWe are an equal employment opportunity employer.
