(On-site 3x per week required)Employment Type: Full-TimePosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to support a federal client in the Washington, D.C. area. This individual will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and providing technical leadership across multiple projects.This is a hands-on role that requires both strategic thinking and deep technical expertise. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a fast-paced federal environment and can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams while driving technical excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end architecture and design of Salesforce solutions across multiple projectsTranslate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing technical solutionsProvide hands-on development support when needed (Apex, LWC, integrations, etc.)Define and enforce best practices for Salesforce development, architecture, and governanceDesign and oversee integrations between Salesforce and external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, etc.)Ensure solutions are aligned with federal security and compliance requirementsMentor developers and guide technical teams through complex implementationsConduct code reviews and ensure quality, performance, and scalability standards are metCollaborate with stakeholders, including project managers, business analysts, and client leadershipSupport CI/CD processes and source control best practicesMinimum Requirements (Firm Requirements)U.S. Citizenship (required for federal clearance eligibility)Bachelor's DegreeAbility to work on-site in Washington, D.C. at least 3 days per week8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including architecture-level responsibilitiesActive Salesforce certifications (Application Architect or System Architect required; CTA preferred or willingness to pursue)Required Technical ExperienceStrong expertise in Apex (classes, triggers, batch, queueable)Advanced experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC)Experience with Salesforce Experience (Community) Cloud, including external user modelsExperience with Salesforce Service CloudDeep understanding xhyhwjd of Salesforce data modeling, security, and sharing architectureExperience designing and implementing integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, third-party systems)Experience with CI/CD pipelines and source control (e.g., Git)Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits and performance optimizationPreferred ExperienceExperience supporting federal clients or working in regulated environmentsFamiliarity with FedRAMP, NIST, or ATO processesExperience with cloud platforms such as AWSExposure to DevOps tools and automation frameworksBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceAbility to Commute:Washington, DC 20005 (Required)Work Location: Hybrid remote in Washington, DC 20005
