Software Engineer

Position is contingent upon contract award and funding.Entarian is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to work on the deployment and operation of Vertasyn as the Centralized Operating Provider (COP) for a critical satellite communications contract. The COP will integrate satellite-to-satellite, satellite-to-ground, and ground-to-ground communication systems across a hybrid AWS and on-premises infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience working in large-scale technical environments involving space systems, ground infrastructure, mission operations, communications networks, or enterprise IT capabilities.Key Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited ToWorking with a team of engineers (Data/AI/ML and UI/UX) on contract executionDeploying Vertasyn in AWS and on-premises government facilitiesIntegrating Vertasyn with satellite communication systems (sat-to-sat, sat-to-ground, ground-to-ground)Ensuring 99.9% uptime across distributed communication networksInterfacing with government contracting officers, program managers, and technical stakeholdersSalary range: $105,000.00 - $130,000.00Minimum QualificationsActive Secret security clearanceBachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or related technical discipline. (Equivalent experience may be considered.)Minimum five (5) years of Software Engineering experience with a combination of:Node.js development skillsReact experiencePython experienceKubernetes experienceAWS experienceExperience with large distributed data systems at scaleAPI design and development experienceSQL database management experienceGood technical communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Outlook.Ability to travel approximately 25% to support customer locations, mission partner engagements, and operational activities.
