This position involves operating manual mills and lathes to produce precision components. The ideal candidate will be experienced in manual machining and dedicated to producing high-quality, tight-tolerance parts in a safety-focused environment. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate manual mills and lathes to manufacture components. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job travelers. Perform precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other tools to verify part accuracy. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Troubleshoot issues with machines and processes as needed. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of experience with manual milling and lathe operations. Proficient in reading engineering drawings and using precision measurement tools. Knowledge of speeds, feeds, tooling, and material properties. Prior experience in high-precision environments. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
