Industrial Maintenance Technician

Primary Responsibilities JOB DESCRIPTION Partner with Maintenance and Facility leadership to reduce equipment downtime and improve operational efficiencyRepair production equipment safely and efficiently following breakdownsPerform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issuesFabricate, modify, and install new or existing equipmentSupport continuous improvement projects and assigned initiativesFollow all safety protocols, including proper PPE usageComply with all NOV policies, HSE standards, and quality proceduresMaintain a clean and organized work environmentPerform other duties as assignedJob DutiesDiagnose and repair production equipment following breakdowns, ensuring safe and efficient restoration of operationsPerform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtimeFabricate, modify, and install new or existing equipment to support production and continuous improvement effortsUse hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment to complete maintenance tasksWork collaboratively with maintenance and production teams to address equipment and process issuesAbility to work overtime and shift schedules as requiredStand and walk for up to 12 hours per dayPerform frequent bending, stooping, and repetitive movements throughout the shiftLift and move materials up to 50 lbs. regularlyPush and pull equipment or materials throughout the shiftTravel up to 10% as neededEducation And QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent is preferredMinimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a maintenance, fabrication, or mechanical shop environment preferredExperience supporting equipment repair, fabrication, or general shop operations requiredForklift certification or willingness to obtain forklift certification is preferredAbility to read and use precision gauges, drawings, and technical instructionsStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand toolsWillingness to be cross-trained and learn multiple job functionsAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentStrong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and reliabilityVeterans WelcomeAt NOV Fiberglass Systems, we value the dedication, discipline, and skills that military veterans bring to the workforce.
