LOOM TECHNICIAN – Job Description / CompensationFULL-TIME / DIRECT HIREShifts: 2nd Shift 4pm – 12am & 3rd Shift 12am – 8 amPay depends on experience and production/incentive**Job DescriptionOn the Job Training, no experience necessary!Inspect cloth on face, between take up and cloth roll and on top of cloth roll, oil cutters, sign cloth, flag looms making defect after cycle is complete, repair in order to get small jobs started first.Fix flags by time posted first down, unless major job involved.Preventive maintenance on assigned upkeep.Correct problem on high stop looms.Check and correct seconds tickets.Check after warps are tied for quality, warp tension, beam jumping, stop motions, working correctly, etc.Keep section neat with regards to housekeeping, parts off floor, work bench, clean etc.Communicate with other shifts concerning problem looms.Check looms for proper lubrication at warp out.
