Role- Infrastructure Architect Location- Chicago IL- Onsite Full Time Employment Must Have Technical/Functional SkillsCloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Exadata, Linux ,SolarisVirtualization and containerization (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes)Networking, storage, and server technologiesInfrastructure automation and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) Roles & ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & DesignDesign and document scalable infrastructure solutions (on-prem, cloud, hybrid).Define infrastructure standards, patterns, and best practices.Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools.Engineering & ImplementationLead the deployment and configuration of servers, storage, networking, and cloud services.Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.Ensure integration with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Operations & OptimizationMonitor system performance and implement improvements.Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.Manage capacity planning and cost optimization, especially in cloud environments.Collaboration & LeadershipWork closely with software engineering, security, and operations teams.Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
