We provide customers the flexibility of a private fleet, without the expense.The Role The Load Planner coordinates freight, shipments and equipment across multiple regions to maximize utilization, reduce costs and ensure on-time delivery. The role supports business growth by managing load assignments, collaborating with internal teams and third-party partners and maintaining high service standards for customers.Shift: Business hours are Sunday - Thursday 1:00 pm 9:00 pm with Friday and Saturday off. Hours at the beginning for training and onboarding will vary.Compensation: Starting Wages (Pay Bi-Weekly) *A final amount is dependent on factors including prior relevant experience, knowledge, and location. Typically, selected candidates are hired at a rate between the minimum and midpoint of the range.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Freight & Equipment Planning Plan freight, shipments and equipment in assigned regions for maximum utilization and profitabilityLoad Assignment Assign loads to ensure on-time pickup and delivery by collaborating with drivers, fleet managers and customer serviceIssue Resolution Address and resolve issues, complaints or concerns related to new loads, deliveries or recoveriesCost Management Manage deadhead to reduce costs and maintain profitable marginsTeam Equipment Utilization Leverage team equipment to maximize productivityCustomer Communication Communicate specific customer requirements to drivers for successful deliveryStakeholder Coordination Interface daily with booking agents, distribution centers, customers and operations personnelQuote & Rate Management Accept and assign new quotes and review rates to grow revenue and expand the customer baseTrailer Pool Oversight Manage trailer pools and equipment to ensure profitability and customer satisfactionThird-Party Collaboration Coordinate with third-party groups to retain lanes and reduce delay claim expensesRegional Support Manage multiple regions to deliver effective solutions for customers and driversAccountability & Reliability Maintain regular and reliable attendance while performing other duties as assigned to support team and business needsPreferred Qualifications: Previous transportation planning experienceIdeal Experience & Skill Set: 2-3 years route planning experience Customer service experienceDid You Know?
