Food Service DirectorSkilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Salary: Up to $95,000 per year Full-Time | Comprehensive Benefits Package A Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking an experienced and motivated Food Service Director to oversee all dietary department operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality food service, regulatory compliance, resident satisfaction, and effective department management within a healthcare environment. We are looking for a strong leader who is passionate about providing excellent dining services while maintaining the highest standards of sanitation, nutrition, and customer service. ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily operations of the dietary and food service department Ensure meals are prepared and served in accordance with physician orders, resident dietary needs, and facility standards Manage dietary staff scheduling, training, supervision, and performance evaluations Maintain compliance with all federal, state, local, and sanitation regulations Monitor food quality, meal presentation, and resident satisfaction Manage department inventory, purchasing, and budget control Collaborate with Registered Dietitians, nursing staff, and administration Ensure proper food storage, kitchen cleanliness, and safety procedures Participate in surveys, inspections, and quality assurance initiatives Develop and maintain effective systems and procedures for dietary services QualificationsPrevious Food Service Director experience in a skilled nursing facility, healthcare, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting preferred Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred Strong knowledge of healthcare dietary regulations and sanitation standards Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Experience managing staff and department operations Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment BenefitsCompetitive salary up to $95,000 annually Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holiday pay 401(k) retirement plan Career advancement opportunities Supportive and team-oriented work environment Why Join Our Team?We are committed to providing exceptional care and service to our residents while fostering a positive and supportive workplace for our employees.
