Registered Nurse (RN) | Long-Term Care Location: Rochester, NH Agency: Ambition 24Hours Pay: $2,647 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the PositionTravelNurseSource is working with Ambition 24Hours to find a qualified Long-Term Care RN in Rochester, New Hampshire, 03867!Contract | Rochester, NH 03867 | Days ShiftShifts / AvailabilityKey ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate the facility's infection prevention and control program in compliance with CMS, CDC, and state regulationsMonitor, track, and analyze infection surveillance data; report findings to the interdisciplinary team and administrationInvestigate infection outbreaks and implement evidence-based containment and prevention strategiesDevelop, update, and deliver infection control policies, procedures, and education to nursing and clinical staffServe as Nurse Educator for clinical staff: provide orientation, competency training, and ongoing in-service educationConduct audits of hand hygiene, PPE use, isolation precautions, and environmental cleaning complianceCollaborate with DON, medical director, and department heads on quality improvement and regulatory readinessMaintain accurate documentation of surveillance data, training records, and infection control interventionsRequirementsActive state RN license in good standing (New Hampshire or compact license eligibility)CPR/BLS certification currentMinimum 2 3 years of RN experience; LTC/SNF setting strongly preferredPrior experience in infection prevention, infection control, or as a Nurse Educator preferredCIC (Certification in Infection Control) preferred but not requiredStrong knowledge of CMS F-tag regulations, CDC guidelines, and NHSN reportingExcellent communication, teaching, and documentation skillsAgency staff must have completed the COVID-19 vaccine series or present a documented religious/medical exemption from their employerPhoto ID and facility badge required at all timesAbout Ambition 24HoursEarn more.
