Lead the design and optimization of production cells, tooling, fixtures, and test systems using advanced lean principles, error‑proofing, and flow optimization. Serve as a technical owner for complex sustaining issues, including MRBs, nonconformances, supplier escapes, production interruptions, and field feedback; lead root cause analysis and corrective actions. Lead cross‑functional teams to drive manufacturing and supplier issue resolution, using data, cost, and long‑term process health to guide decisions. Lead high‑impact capital projects and strategic improvement initiatives from proposal through Release‑to‑Production, prioritizing based on ROI, capacity, quality, and sustainability. Complete Role Standard Work and deliver all other duties as assigned. Required Skills/AbilitiesProven ability to take ownership of manufacturing outcomes, not just engineering tasks, with accountability for process stability and performance. Advanced problem‑solving skills with demonstrated experience leading complex root cause and corrective action efforts in production environments. Strong working knowledge of lean manufacturing tools (Standard Work, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, error‑proofing) and their practical application on the production floor. Advanced experience designing and improving production fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing layouts (NX or SolidWorks preferred). Ability to lead by influence across cross‑functional teams, communicate effectively at all organizational levels, and bring structure to ambiguity. Education And ExperienceBachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial engineering or a related field with approximately 7–10+ years of progressive manufacturing engineering experience. Demonstrated experience leading complex manufacturing projects, capital initiatives, or plant‑level continuous improvement programs.
