Maintenance Team Leader 2nd Shift

Flex-N-Gate is a leading manufacturer and supplier of components for the automotive industry, recently ranked 10th of the 150 Top North American Suppliers in “Automotive News.” A growing and vital company, Flex-N-Gate provides a great opportunity for hard-working and skilled individuals.Actively performing job duties as required in Maintenance Technician positionTroubleshoot and diagnose equipment failuresMaintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and program malfunctions in automated systems, automated machinery and stamping pressesModify existing production work cells to improve quality, productivity and ergonomicsPerform preventative maintenanceAssesses and prioritizes work requests and ensures material required for the work is availableFollows up on work orders to ensure job specifications (quality and quantity) and time lines are metCoordinate regular preventative maintenance on daily equipment and facilityCommunicate with Manufacturing Supervisor’s throughout the shift to understand prioritization of Maintenance calls throughout the shiftUnderstand strengths of each Maintenance team member to be able to adequately assign team members to Maintenance calls Monitor team members progress throughout the shiftEnsure all employees are working together in an effective and cooperative manner to complete job requirements as quickly and completely as possible per work instructions and standard workMain contact for escalation of Maintenance concerns to Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager and/ or General ManagerPerform pass down meeting with next shift and daily report to Maintenance ManagerComply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areasEnsure the application of all Flex-N-Gate’s safety policies and proceduresProvide necessary training and instruction to othersMaintains a positive and cooperative attitude throughout the workdayAssist with completing reports for all safety issues, work place injuries and environmental incidents immediately upon notificationWhat We Offer Medical, dental, prescription, vision, life and disability insurance; and a flexible spending account 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match Extensive safety training, new hire orientation, continuous learning and development programs and tuition reimbursement Paid holidays and vacation timeWhat do our employees have to say?“It engages you professionally, and provides learning opportunities.”“Lots of growth opportunity.”“The company’s young enough to be exciting, but old enough to be stable.”Not just a job—a great place to work!Flex-N-Gate is an equal opportunity employer.
