Job DescriptionA boutique private wealth management firm located in the Uptown area of Houston, TX, is seeking a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant.The role is a key function within the firm and offers competitive compensation, including participation in the company's annual bonus pool. Over time, this position has the potential to expand into operations support, providing additional growth opportunities for a truly motivated individual.The firm prides itself on long-tenured, strong client relationships and excellent client service.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the "Face of the Firm" and first point of contact for visitors and incoming phone calls, ensuring a professional and welcoming experienceSchedule and manage meetings for firm Principals, including quarterly client updatesPlan and coordinate firm events, such as quarterly Investment Forums and the annual holiday partyManage all facilities requests and coordinate with building management, as neededOversee office and kitchen supplies and maintain a tidy office environmentDistribute newsletters and other informational materials to clients via emailOperations & Administrative Support (Growth Opportunity)Crosstrain to support critical operational functions, including assistance with investment reviews, insurance, and administrative processes as neededDevelop a strong understanding of firm workflows to become a valuable resource for internal operationsReporting StructureReports to Director of OperationsQualifications & SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointStrong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members professionallyAbility to take initiative and work proactively in a small team environmentBasic understanding of and interest in economics, markets, and investments (preferred but not required)Work Schedule & BenefitsWork Hours: Monday – Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. | Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.Holidays: Observance of NYSE Calendar for holidaysBenefits: Competitive benefits package, including health insurance and a 401(k) planCulture: Collaborative, small-office environment with a supportive, family-like teamEmployment RequirementsMust be eligible to work in the United StatesCommitment to excellence and a strong work ethicMust pass a background check, including a credit check
