You will be a key contributor to the lean Finance & Accounting team and will report directly to the Corporate Controller. The position will be based out of the Company’s headquarters in Seal Beach, CA.  About the Job:We’re seeking an experienced accounting professional to support the Company’s overall accounting function. Our ideal candidate will possess outstanding levels of attention to detail, and great organizational and analytic skills. As we continue to grow, there will be opportunities for learning and exposure to various key accounting areas. Responsibilities:• Collaborate with Finance Team and other cross-functional departments to ensure completeness of information required for month close and year end close.• Handle and oversee the accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate vendor invoicing, credit processing and payment activities.• Apply payment to account receivables based on payment remittances.• Maintain and update Broker Fee Accrual Masterfile.• Prepare weekly bank reconciliation.• Create journal entries for month-end close and year-end close.• Assist with inventory accounts reconciliation.• Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports.• Prepare Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation.• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies and procedures.• Assist with SOX compliance activities and annual audit.• Perform ad-hoc requests as needed. Position Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and/or the equivalent in experience• 2 years of accounting experience required• Public CPA firm experience preferred but not required• Ability to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team• Experience in a high growth and fast-paced environment• High attention to detail with the ability to keep the big picture in mind• CPG industry experience with inventory preferred but not required• Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Excel • Strong work ethicAbout ZICO Rising, Inc. Founded in 2004 by Mark Rampolla, ZICO (pronounced Zee-co) is the maker of pure premium coconut water.
