CNC Machinist

Job DescriptionEDUCATION: MINIMUM HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED***JOB TITLE: CNC MACHINIST***SCHEDULE: ROTATING SHIFTS - 6am - 6pm rotational - 6pm - 6amSome overtime is required along with more optionalSHIFT DIFFERENTIAL: $2 PER HOURREQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Must have horizontal lathe experienceExperience with measuring toolsExperience with dial calipers and indicatorsKnowledge of Fanuc controls is a plus. Job Description: Produce machine parts and be able to perform CNC thread machine set-ups, start up, perform routine maintenance, operate safely all thread machine equipment, and perform parts inspections for entire Premium Thread product line.- Proper loading and alignment of parts. - CNC machine operation. - Tool offsetting. - Read and understand machining programs. - Use PC and run evaluation programs. - Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe, shop and production area. - Product specifications and understand the tolerances, surface finishes, and grinding required for a part. per (XL-215)- Paperwork and procedures. - Debur threads and Seal area. - Phosphating / PH levels. - Willingness to Mentor other (I) Operators. - Proper use of micrometers and probe. - Responsible for prompt reliable attendance. - Other duties as defined by Production Manager.
