Electrical Systems Design/Testing EngineerWe are seeking a talented Electrical Systems Design/Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves the development of innovative hardware, software, and systems for automotive electrical systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to ensure quality and regulatory compliance while supporting product launches.Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience with the design and testing of automotive electrical systems – hardware, software, and systems.Experience with developing and executing design verification plans (DVP) for Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) on test benches, HIL, and vehicles.Proficiency in quality documentation development and reviews.Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as FMVSS, ECE, RF certification, and homologation.Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.Preferred Skills & QualificationsExperience with vehicle network tools including CANalyzer.Experience with the development/testing of wireless technology.Experience in the automotive industry or prior work experience with the client.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with lead engineers to take responsibility for a subset of parts/requirements.Lead design reviews with internal and external teams, including suppliers.Develop and execute design verification plans for TPMS systems on bench, HIL, and vehicle per program milestone requirements.Track status and issues in data repositories like FEDE and JIRA.Support programs through launch by leading issue resolution and presenting status to management.Travel to supplier facilities and assembly plants as needed to support design reviews and product launches.For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process.
