Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.Description Med Tech-Assisted LivingType: Full-TimeShift: Swing shift (2-10pm), Tuesday-SaturdayAttendance bonus: The perfect attendance bonus in a pay period will be $100.00 for a full-time employee and $75.00 for a part-time employee.Location: Avamere at Chestnut Lane - 1219 NE 6th St., Gresham, OR 97030Avamere at Chestnut Lane is a Deaf and DeafBlind Community. The ideal candidate will be someone proficient in ASL or willing to learn.Responsibilities:Care for residents and assist in updating each resident's service planAdminister medications ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the DHS and according to current policies, procedures, and practicesProvide care for residents and assist with updating service plans.Respond to resident calls and emergencies promptly and provide first aid assistanceAssist with daily living activities (i.e., bathing, dressing, and eating)Provide support with residents to caregivers as neededDocument and communicate resident changes and complete all reports in a timely mannerMaintain confidentiality of all resident care in accordance with HIPAA guidelinesQualifications:Must be at least 18 years oldHCA or CNA license preferredHigh-School diploma or equivalentMust have or obtain (within 30-days of employment) First Aid & CPR CertificationMinimum of one-year of experience in a healthcare settingCMA certification is preferredMust obtain a Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employmentKnowledge and experience caring for and interacting with eldersBenefits:We believe caring for others starts with caring for our own teams.
