Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - PACU Job Details: • 2 years of PACU experience required • Strict 3 strike attendance policy - absent from scheduled shift or more than 20 minutes late 3 times results in immediate termination • On-call requirements: weeknights Monday through Friday from 9:30 PM to 7:00 AM • Weekend call shifts either 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Weekend schedule rotates based on current staffing • Averages 2-3 weeknight calls in a six-week period and 1-2 weekends in a six-week period • Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), BLS (AHA) • Michigan nursing license required with LARA and Nursys verification • Skills checklist completed within one year of application required • Provide post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from general elective surgeries and critical or life-saving procedures • Work with full spectrum of surgical procedures and tests across various specialties Facility: This healthcare organization's surgical services department represents excellence in providing a full spectrum of procedures and tests across various specialties.
