Calibration Technician

DescriptionThe position of Calibration Technician reports to the Production Planner and is responsible for performing maintenance on Fox calibration equipment, and calibrating Fox devices according to desired specifications.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Perform standard testing and calibration processes on any Fox manufactured product.Record results per calibration procedure.Perform routine set-up and safety maintenance on calibration equipment.Identify, diagnose and disposition "out of tolerance" meters.Monitor inventories of gases and determine future gas requirements.Ensures quality of final product.Identify opportunities for continual improvement of processes and continual elimination of inefficiencies.Position RequirementsMust have excellent working knowledge of one of the following disciplines: electronics, thermal conductivity or chemistry.Must possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Must possess a High School diploma or equivalentPreference given to candidates with AS or BS degree in an Engineering discipline.Must have 2 years direct or equivalent experience.
