Job description:Position SummaryZenTech Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented Calibrator Prover Technician to support production and quality operations for a leading manufacturer of HVAC and flow measurement instrumentation. This role is responsible for calibrating, proving, testing, and validating flow meters and related instrumentation to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with company and industry standards.The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, experience with instrumentation or testing environments, and strong attention to detail in a manufacturing or calibration setting.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform calibration and proving of flow meters, BTU meters, and related instrumentation equipmentConduct functional testing and verification of products prior to shipmentOperate calibration stands, proving systems, and diagnostic equipmentRecord calibration data, test results, and quality documentation accuratelyTroubleshoot calibration inconsistencies and assist with root cause analysisRead and interpret work instructions, engineering drawings, and calibration proceduresMaintain calibration equipment and ensure testing environments meet operational standardsWork closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve calibration processes and product reliabilityEnsure all work complies with ISO and company quality standardsQualifications2+ years of experience in calibration, instrumentation testing, manufacturing, or quality control environmentsMechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to operate testing and proving equipmentExperience using measuring devices, gauges, multimeters, and diagnostic toolsStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate recordsAbility to follow detailed procedures and work instructionsBasic computer skills for documentation and data entryAbility to work independently and in a team-oriented production environmentPreferred SkillsExperience with HVAC instrumentation, flow meters, or process control systemsUnderstanding of calibration standards and ISO-regulated manufacturing environmentsKnowledge of electrical or low-voltage systems preferredExperience troubleshooting mechanical or electronic assembliesFamiliarity with fluid dynamics or flow measurement systems is a plusWork Location: In personRequired qualifications:Legally authorized to work in the United States18 years or olderPreferred qualifications:1+ year of experience in the warehouse & production industryAble to stand for duration of shift
