Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

We are seeking a highly qualified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at Roxborough Memorial Hospital in Philly, PA. This is open to Full-Time, Part-Time or Per Diem. The role of the Nurse Anesthetist at our facility includes providing quality anesthesia services to patients before, during and after surgery. The Anesthesiologist will be responsible for evaluating the patient's medical history and providing pre-operative and post-operative care. In addition, the Nurse Anesthetist will provide anesthesia for a variety of surgeries, including orthopedic, and vascular surgeries.Key responsibilities:* Educate patients on surgical and anesthesia options * Perform focused pre-anesthesia assessments * Develop safe, patient-centered anesthesia plans * Obtain informed consent for anesthesia procedures * Administer anesthetic meds and monitor effects * Manage airway, anesthetic depth, and emergence * Complete postoperative assessments * Participate in anesthesia education and trainingPosition Highlights:* CRNAs will have a primary site and be expected to rotate to three local suburban locations. * Perform anesthetics for general surgery , plastics , urology , and gynecology * No neurosurgery, obstetrics, or pediatrics * Work in a collegial team environment with anesthesiologists and CRNAs. * Independence required ; must be comfortable working solo when needed * 2nd call only with limited call backs * Full-time, part-time, or per-diem options availableAbout Philadelphia, PA Step into the heart of American history and stay for the vibrant food, art, and culture.
