This reimagined position is key to bringing strategic clarity, global credibility, and an elevated nursing voice to the organization. The CNO will be instrumental in redefining the role and influencing the strategic direction, with a focus on expanding the company's relevance beyond academia and deepening engagement with clinical and other nurses globally. The successful candidate will partner closely with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to ensure that nursing and clinical strategy align with the new strategic framework, which emphasizes innovation, broader partnerships, and a clearer value proposition for nurses across various pathways. Applicants for the CNO role at the company should hold a Master's degree in Nursing, with a doctorate highly preferred, and have an unencumbered Registered Nurse license. A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive administrative and/or executive leadership experience is required, particularly in a nonprofit professional or service organization/association. The ideal candidate will be a highly collaborative, relationship-driven, and forward-thinking leader with the ability to lead through ambiguity, drive change management, and shape organizational culture. Strong financial and business acumen, exceptional communication skills, and emotional intelligence are essential.
