Early Childhood Teacher (D/HH) - Early Learning

The Early Learning Center is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to teach young students, who are Deaf/HH, subject matter at a preschool level and support development of social, emotional, developmentally appropriate skills.Must maintain valid Ohio teaching licensure for grade level, subject area or special class assignmentORThe Ohio School for the Deaf has a strong Grow Your Own program. Applicants will be considered if qualifications indicate a path to licensure for the above license.Must demonstrate Advanced level on the Sign Language Proficiency Interview (SLPI) within one year of hire, Intermediate level minimum requirement at hire.Preferred early learning childhood experience and/or special education knowledge (multiple disabilities).May be required to seek van certification.Job Skills: Education, Educational Support, Adaptability, Developing Others, Emotional Intelligence, Leading Others, Presenting
