AMTS is hiring a CxAlloy / Commissioning Program Specialist to join our semiconductor project in Durham, NC!The CxAlloy / Commissioning Program Specialist supports the planning, execution, documentation, and closeout of commissioning activities for complex semiconductor manufacturing facilities and infrastructure.This position serves as a key administrator and subject-matter resource for the CxAlloy commissioning management platform, ensuring that equipment, systems, commissioning requirements, test procedures, deficiencies, documentation, and turnover activities are accurately captured, tracked, and completed.The Specialist works closely with Construction, Facilities Engineering, Commissioning Agents, Project Management, Controls, Operations, contractors, and equipment vendors to establish and maintain a reliable digital record of facility readiness.The ideal candidate combines strong CxAlloy/database skills with practical knowledge of commissioning, construction, MEP systems, controls, and large-scale industrial or semiconductor facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesCxAlloy Program ManagementAdminister and maintain the CxAlloy commissioning platform throughout project execution.Develop and maintain equipment, system, subsystem, and asset hierarchies.Configure project workflows, user access, forms, checklists, and commissioning documentation.Import and validate equipment and asset data from project databases, drawings, specifications, and construction systems.Maintain data accuracy and consistency across commissioning activities.Develop dashboards and reports to communicate commissioning progress and readiness.Commissioning ManagementSupport the development and implementation of commissioning plans and schedules.Create and maintain pre-functional checklists (PFCs), functional performance tests (FPTs), startup checklists, and integrated systems testing documentation.Track equipment installation, startup, testing, and commissioning status.Coordinate commissioning activities across electrical, mechanical, controls, process utility, and facility systems.Ensure required testing documentation is completed and properly recorded.Monitor system readiness and identify gaps that could impact project milestones.Deficiency and Issue ManagementCreate, assign, track, and close commissioning deficiencies and observations.Coordinate corrective actions with contractors, vendors, engineers, and project stakeholders.Maintain accurate status of open issues and identify aging or critical deficiencies.Support escalation of issues that may affect safety, schedule, system performance, or manufacturing readiness.Verify corrective actions and maintain supporting documentation within CxAlloy.Semiconductor Facility SystemsSupport commissioning activities involving complex facility infrastructure, including:Electrical distribution and power systemsSwitchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, and emergency powerHVAC and cleanroom systemsChilled water and process cooling waterCompressed dry air (CDA)Nitrogen and other facility/process gasesUltra-pure water (UPW)Vacuum systemsExhaust and abatement systemsBuilding management systems (BMS)Electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS)PLC and controls systemsFacility monitoring and alarm systemsData, Reporting & TurnoverMaintain accurate commissioning records from construction through final turnover.Generate project status reports, equipment readiness reports, deficiency reports, and commissioning dashboards.Support turnover of completed systems from Construction and Commissioning to Facilities and Operations.Ensure final test records and commissioning documentation are complete and traceable.Assist with development of final commissioning reports and project closeout documentation.Maintain documentation required for audits, acceptance, and operational readiness.Required Qualifications3+ years of experience supporting commissioning, construction, facilities engineering, project controls, or industrial facility projects.Hands-on experience with CxAlloy or a comparable commissioning management platform.Strong understanding of commissioning workflows and documentation.Experience working with equipment and system databases.Strong organizational and data-management skills.Ability to interpret equipment lists, drawings, specifications, system descriptions, and commissioning documentation.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other project management/documentation tools.Strong communication and coordination skills.Ability to work effectively with contractors, engineers, commissioning agents, vendors, and operations personnel.Preferred QualificationsExperience in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, pharmaceutical, data center, or other mission-critical facilities.Experience with large-scale semiconductor fab construction or expansion projects.Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, controls, and process utility systems.Experience with BMS, EPMS, PLC, or facility controls systems.Experience developing functional performance tests and integrated systems testing.Experience with commissioning of cleanroom environments.Familiarity with BIM, equipment databases, construction management platforms, or digital turnover systems.Experience supporting FAT/SAT, startup, qualification, or operational-readiness activities.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.Core CompetenciesCommissioning
