The Loan Officer Assistant will support loan officers in managing mortgage applications and facilitating the lending process. Responsibilities include assisting customers, collaborating with underwriters, gathering required documentation, communicating loan updates, and ensuring quality customer service. The role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage time effectively and work closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth transactions.QualificationsExperience working with loan officers and familiarity with the mortgage industryStrong customer service and client relationship management skillsKnowledge in underwriting processes and proceduresExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong organizational and time management abilitiesAttention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in mortgage processing systems and software is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or education related to finance or real estate are a plusCurrent NMLS licensing in UT required
