This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday.This position will support the care team and its patients by greeting and checking in patients, scheduling appointments, answering telephone inquiries, collecting payments and maintaining demographic information. Additionally, they will routinely use the electronic health record (EHR) according to ProHealth policies and standard workflows.May be asked to float to local practices in the region for coverage depending on business need.Schedule:Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:45am - 5:15pmTuesday, Thursday: 7:15am - 3:45pmLocation: 119 Broadway St. Colchester, CTPrimary Responsibilities:Conduct check-in and check-out processAnswer incoming calls and use EHR to document details of patient inquiriesConduct outreach to patients requiring appointments or service follow-upSchedule appointments using standard scheduling protocolsManage administrative in-basket pools and work queuesScan documents into the EHR per standard protocolsBalance payments and prepare depositsProtect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal and financial informationProvide coverage at other ProHealth locations on an ad hoc basisPerform other duties as assignedWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group?
