About the Role:
Vytwo is looking for a talented Software Test Engineer to join our growing team in Dallas, TX! In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products, working alongside passionate developers and product teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. Position Title | Software Test Engineer with Lab ExpDomain EXP | Life sciences domain knowledge Location | San Diego, CA(Onsite in the lab – Need to go 5 days a week) Duration | C2CResponsibilities: Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans, test cases, and test scripts Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies through the full bug lifecycle Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure testability Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across software releases Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipeline integrations Analyze test results, generate reports, and communicate quality metrics to stakeholders Continuously improve QA processes, standards, and best practices
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or software test engineering
- Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks
- Experience with bug tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and QA best practices
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment
