Landscaper for Scranton or Wilkes Barre (FT/PT Days/summer temporary position)

DescriptionUnder the direction of the Supervisor, Groundskeeper is responsible for completing the required tasks such as mowing grass with power equipment or hand tools, load and unload mulch, dirt, gravel, etc. trimming, and snow removal. Also maintaining quality control and contract retention for all grounds keeping/landscaper accounts assigned. The landscaper will clean an assigned area in a safe and efficient manner while attending to the landscaping needs of the individuals working in that area.EDUCATION:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.WORK EXPERIENCE:One (1) year of landscaping experience preferred.Six (6) months of custodial experience is preferred.SPECIAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required for effective interaction with staff, clients, and external agencies.Must be cleared to work in the building(s) assigned. This clearance obtained is determined by the contact requirements and may include the following: personal references, criminal record, child abuse clearance, etc.Must be able to provide excellent customer service.Must have a valid PA drivers license.Will become competent in areas designated by program policies.Needs to be able to work a flexible schedule work time.
