The position is heavily focused on production support, issue resolution, operational stability, and business continuity across critical SAP environments. The ideal candidate will be analytical, business-facing, and comfortable owning incidents through full resolution in fast-paced operational environments.You would work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and support partners to ensure SAP systems remain stable, efficient, and aligned with operational priorities.Key Responsibilities1) SAP Application Support & Incident ResolutionProvide day-to-day production support for SAP ECC and SAP S/4 environmentsSupport SAP modules including: SD, MM, PP, PM, QM, SCM, TM, EWMDiagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP application and business process issuesPerform root cause analysis and coordinate escalations when requiredPartner with technical teams, SAP support resources, and external vendors to resolve complex issues2) Ticket Management & Operational SupportManage and prioritize support activities through ServiceNowMonitor ticket queues and ensure SLA complianceCoordinate directly with business stakeholders to assess business impact and operational urgencyMaintain accurate documentation and clear communication throughout the ticket lifecycle3)Business & Functional PartnershipWork closely with business users and process owners to understand operational issues and support requirementsTranslate business needs into practical functional solutionsSupport SAP-enabled business processes across supply chain and operational functionsBuild strong cross-functional relationships across IT and business teams4) Problem Management & Continuous ImprovementIdentify recurring issues and recommend preventive solutionsCreate and maintain: Support documentation, Knowledge articles, Troubleshooting guides, Process documentationParticipate in post-incident reviews and continuous improvement initiativesHelp improve operational support processes and support consistency5) Testing & Change SupportSupport testing activities related to: System enhancements, Patches, Upgrades, Production changesCoordinate with developers, functional teams, integration teams, and business users during validation and release activitiesAssist with implementation support and stabilization effortsRequired Experience5+ years of experience in: SAP Application Support, SAP Production Support, SAP Functional SupportStrong experience supporting SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4Experience supporting one or more of the following modules: SD, MM, PP, PM, QM, SCM, TM, EWMExperience working with ticketing systems such as ServiceNowStrong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilitiesExperience managing incidents, defects, and operational support requestsAbility to work directly with business stakeholders and manage support priorities effectivelyPreferred ExperienceExperience with incident management and problem management processesExperience supporting testing, upgrades, and change management activitiesSAP certifications are a plus, but not requiredKey SkillsStrong functional understanding of SAP ECC and SAP S/4 support environmentsExcellent troubleshooting and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced production environmentsStrong understanding of support operations and service management practicesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating across technical and business teamsStrong documentation and organizational skills
