Human Resources Manager

We are partnering with a national manufacturing company on an HR Manager opportunity supporting one of their larger manufacturing facilities in Delaware County, NY. This onsite role will lead a team of HR professionals while partnering closely with plant leadership on employee relations, recruiting, workforce planning, performance management, and overall HR strategy for the site. The position reports to the Regional HR Manager and offers strong long-term growth opportunities within the organization.*Relocation available Job Responsibilities:Provides HR consulting expertise to all levels of the organization Administers employee relations and engagement programs Administers existing programs in accordance with established policies and procedures including EEO and ADA compliance Consults with employees and manager to address root causes of issues and resolves through a systematic and analytical approach, including investigations. Makes recommendations to minimize potential employment liabilityConsults with management team to analyze and assess peoples needs and issues. Develops and implements appropriate action plansManages recruitment and hiring process to ensure staffing needs are met for all non-exempt and exempt level positions Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations (Federal, State, Local) laws and company policies/guidelines. Performs periodic training for all employees’ levels to include new business processes, policies and compliance training Acts as the change agent for the functions supported Implements HR initiatives to improve organization effectives including performance management systems talent development, organization design, and cultural development Provides affirmative action program and administration in support of AAP, EEO, and OFCCP compliance Acts as the functional lead for internal and external audits. Perform pre-audit activities to minimize risk and maximize audit results Identifies opportunities and recommends changes to increase performance, reduce costs, and positively impact HR metrics through analytical approaches including the tracking of key data and analyzing trends Required Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Admin, HR or related field 5+ years of HR experience in employee relations, recruiting, consulting, leadership development, talent development, and compensation/benefit administration MUST HAVE experience in HR in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment. Ability to consult with business partners on talent management and organizational design issues Demonstrates business maturity and integrity, especially when dealing with highly confidential information High level of emotional intelligence with strong self-awareness and ability to build strong relationships with business leaders Ability to lead others through the problem solving and decision-making processProficient in MS Office Suite.
