Provide administrative support, ensure student discipline, coordinate campus operations, and promote a safe and effective learning environment aligned with the district's mission and campus improvement plan.Qualifications:Education/Certification:Master's degree in Educational Leadership or related fieldValid Texas Principal or Mid-Management CertificationT-TESS certification preferredSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of curriculum and instruction at the middle school levelAbility to evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectivenessAbility to manage student behavior and school operationsStrong decision-making and problem-solving abilitiesExperience:* Minimum of three years successful classroom teaching experience* Leadership experience preferredMajor Responsibilities and Duties:Instructional LeadershipSupport the principal in developing and implementing the campus instructional planMonitor classroom instruction and provide feedback through walkthroughs and evaluationsCollaborate with instructional coaches and department heads to analyze data and improve student performanceSchool Operations and ManagementAssist in managing campus routines including arrival/dismissal, lunch, hallway supervision, etc.Support scheduling, testing coordination, and substitute coverageEnsure compliance with district policies and proceduresOversee campus safety plans, drills, and emergency proceduresPlease note that this role requires in-person attendance and is not eligible for remote work.Salary is commensurate with experienceStarting Salary $76,439Works 212 Day CalendarSheldon ISD will accept applications for this position through June 30, 2025.
