Location: Hattie Mae WhiteDepartment: Curriculum PD - Math/Science/RLAArea:District WideContract Months:12Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00Academic Year: 26-27JOB SUMMARYSupports the implementation and continuous improvement of K-8 literacy initiatives, including Science of Reading practices and pre-teach strategies, to ensure high-quality instructional delivery and improved student outcomes.MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESList most important duties first1. Supports implementation of Science of Reading practices across K-8 campuses2. Monitors literacy initiative implementation and provides feedback to schools and leadership3. Analyzes student literacy data to identify trends and inform instructional adjustmentsMAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES CONTINUED4. Other duties as assignedEDUCATIONBachelor's DegreeContinuing education in literacy instruction or curriculum development preferred.WORK EXPERIENCE3 to 5 yearsSKILL AND/OR REQUIRED LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONMicrosoft OfficeOffice equipment (e.g., computer, copier)LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIESWork Leadership. Regularly provides project management or team leadership to a group of two or more employees but does not have formal supervisory responsibility. Leading and directing is restricted to monitoring work and providing guidance on escalated issues. Most of work time is spent performing many of the same duties they are leading.WORK COMPLEXITY/INDEPENDENT JUDGMENTWork is substantially complex, varied and regularly requires the selection and application of technical and detailed guidelines. Independent judgment is required to identify, select, and apply the most appropriate methods as well as interpret precedent.
