The speech/language pathologist is a certified speech pathologist and hearing therapist who provides evaluative, habilitative (therapy), and consultative services for students with disabilities in need of language, speech or hearing therapy.OUR DISTRICTThe Sultan School District is one of the larger geographical school districts in the Puget Sound area, consisting of approximately 325 square miles. Sultan School District has approximately 2,200 students enrolled K-12. The SLP develops and implements individualized therapy plans, provides direct services, monitors progress, and collaborates with teachers, families, and school teams to ensure students can access their educational programs and meet IEP goals.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSThese statements are intended to describe the major purpose and responsibilities assigned to this job and are not intended to represent an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required.
