Position Overview
We are seeking two Business Intelligence Developers to support a Self-Service Analytics Center of Excellence. This role will help business users effectively adopt, manage, and optimize Tableau and Power BI solutions.
The position combines BI user support, platform administration, reporting governance, troubleshooting, process improvement, and technical documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least one year of BI experience who wants to expand their knowledge of analytics platforms, data warehousing, and enterprise self-service reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Support Tableau and Power BI users by troubleshooting issues and answering technical questions.
Gather and analyze user requirements, reporting needs, and pain points.
Help users apply established Tableau and Power BI standards, procedures, and best practices.
Assist with Tableau Server and Power BI Service administration.
Manage Tableau and Power BI user access and software licenses.
Help users deploy, manage, govern, and improve BI reports and dashboards.
Develop knowledge-base materials, FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and error catalogs.
Identify and automate process improvements that reduce ongoing support work.
Assist with BI training and best-practice learning sessions.
Support Self-Service Analytics Center of Excellence initiatives.
Work with semantic layers, cubes, extracts, and report-scheduling technologies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
At least one year of business intelligence or related experience.
Hands-on experience with Power BI and Tableau Desktop or Tableau Server.
Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Experience with databases such as Snowflake, Vertica, Oracle, or SQL Server.
Experience with Kimball dimensional modeling.
Experience with semantic layers, cubes, extracts, or scheduling technologies.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to explain technical information clearly to business users.
Interest in developing broader data-analysis and analytics experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Python experience.
Experience using Tableau or Power BI APIs.
Master’s degree.
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
