Your expertise will help us evaluate and implement innovative technologies to meet business needs while ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability.Required Skills & QualificationsExperience or coursework that has provided familiarity with basic electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, inductors, transformers, connectors, and integrated circuits.Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and familiarity with hierarchical organizational structures through class projects or past experience.Strong writing and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.Understanding of requirements and requirements documentation.Experience evaluating and qualifying parts.Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years.Preferred Skills & QualificationsExperience in component evaluation/design/qualification with industry/military aerospace standards (SAE, Mil-specs, ASTMs, IEEE), especially in Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS).Past work experience with electrical interconnect wiring harnesses and any manufacturing experience.Experience with heightened requirement or harsh environment application spaces, including industrial, medical, automotive, aerospace, and military.Experience with fiber optic interconnect or systems.Experience writing requirements or defining parameters of electrical systems/parts.Experience with Statement of Work (SSOWs) or ensuring deliverables for customers.Experience with electrical component fabrication.Experience with component-level design and part selection, including both "from scratch" designs and alternate part substitutions within an established system/circuit.Experience with testing and troubleshooting electrical systems and parts.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesAssist in defining requirements for tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes used in engineering design, manufacture, and/or maintenance of products.Draft engineering specifications and documents to manage deployment of tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes.Evaluate emerging technologies for potential application to business needs.Develop and qualify new tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes to meet requirements.Perform routine tests and audits to qualify suppliers to applicable requirements.Conduct routine analysis to determine performance or reasons for failures of tools, materials, parts, or processes.Implement corrective and preventive actions.Develop computer and production systems to satisfy user requirements.Use project management tools to meet cost, technical, and schedule requirements.Incorporate environmental health and safety, LEAN, and Quality principles into materials and processes, research, design and qualification, work procedures, and lab and office areas.Company Benefits & CultureComprehensive health and wellness benefits.Opportunities for professional development and career growth.Collaborative and inclusive work environment.For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
