This position is available in the Automated Test Equipment group within Boeing Engineering, Support and Sustainment, which is part of Boeing Global Services (BGS).Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Mid-Level Electrical Automated Test Engineers.Position Responsibilities:Design electrical support hardware for multiple platforms conforming to various specifications, both military and commercial. Design would be, but not limited to, interface cables, test panels, electrical test sets, electronic testers, and interface devicesWork from a requirement and convert that requirement into high quality Automated Test hardwareCreate requirements to write Test Program Sets (TPS) to test a Unit Under Test (UUT)Develop supplier procurement packagesInterface with multiple disciplines, including Supplier Management and Procurement, Logistics Engineering, Technical Publications, Training, Quality Assurance, and othersGenerate estimates and statements of work to support customer proposalsDemonstrate knowledge/experience with DSP card design or other circuit board designAccomplish equipment design, generate drawings, and support hardware fabrication, integration and testingInvestigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirementsSupport fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycleAssist suppliers with fabricating to our engineering drawingsThis job includes working with both internal and external customersThis position will require a candidate that is a self-starter with initiative, as the candidate must be able to work independently while effectively coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasksSome travel may be required to accomplish necessary technical communications or install and/or troubleshooting of equipment, including international travel to Saudi Arabia and South Korea.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statementProficiency in either C, C++, or C#1+ years of experience with electronic systems engineeringPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):3+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)Experience with modern Automatic Test System and Test Program Set hardware and softwareExperience programing in C++Experience in electrical designUse of Unigraphics or other drafting CAD tools, DxDesignerUse of oscilloscope, multi-meter and other lab equipmentProficient in Microsoft suite of toolsProject management skillsMilitary ExperienceConflict of Interest:Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
