Owners Rep / Project Manager – Federal Construction Projects
A well-established owners rep / Project Management firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing Federal Client Interiors Construction division in Philadelphia, PA.This role will oversee complex federal and defense-related interior construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, with full responsibility for project execution, client relationships, financial performance, subcontractor management, and schedule delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the owner’s representative from project kickoff through completion and turnoverOversee coordination between contractors, consultants, vendors, and client stakeholdersMonitor project scope, financials, timelines, risk items, and overall progressEvaluate construction documents, RFIs, submittals, pay applications, change requests, and related project materialsAssist with bidding efforts, vendor selection, procurement activities, and contract administrationCoordinate building infrastructure activities, system testing, furniture installations, commissioning, and move readinessFacilitate project meetings and communicate status updates effectively with senior leadershipProactively identify project challenges and implement timely, solution-oriented responsesEnsure accurate recordkeeping, documentation management, and final project closeout proceduresQualificationsMinimum 8 years of experience in project management, construction oversight, facilities operations, capital improvements, or similar environmentsBackground managing projects within live, occupied, or mission-critical facilities preferredStrong knowledge of construction practices, MEP systems, scheduling, budgeting, and site coordinationAbility to hold contractors and project partners accountable while maintaining productive relationshipsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex issues clearlyHighly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities independentlyDegree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or related discipline preferredPMP certification strongly preferred; candidates pursuing certification within the first year will also be consideredCompensation:$100,000 – $160,000 base salaryComprehensive healthcare coverage for yourself and dependentsAnnual performance bonus401kThis is an excellent opportunity to join a respected builder with a strong pipeline of federal, mission-critical, and technically complex work.
