Associate Scheduling ConsultantUSA Remote – 25% travel requiredSalary: $60K/yr – flexible depending on experienceWe are an industry leader in construction management and project controls consulting services who are seeking highly skilled professionals wanting to impact the operational performance of local and global companies in our industry while working in a motivating and rewarding atmosphere.SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:The Consultant I (Associate) will be responsible for developing, maintaining, monitoring, and revising CPM schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft ProjectESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Work closely with the Lead Consultant and Project Team to develop, maintain, and manage multiple project schedules; to include periodic tracking and status updatesReview project documents including drawings and specificationsAssist in the creation of comprehensive schedules utilizing Critical Path Methodology (CPM); resource and cost loading as necessaryReview critical path, cost loading, schedule content, use of relationships and lag, constraints, and milestonesGain experience and on-the-job training in construction claims analysis including as-built schedule preparation, schedule analysis, document review and organization, key issue analysis, graphic exhibits, and development of expert evaluationsREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or a related discipline (or equivalent in-field Construction Project Management related experience)At least 1-5 years' experience in the construction industry (scheduling experience preferred)Understanding of the Critical Path Method of scheduling theory and as it applies to projectsBasic understanding of schedule delay principles and techniquesAbility to understand and interpret construction documents (drawings, specifications, contracts/general conditions)Experience using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project (or similar scheduling software), and Microsoft Office Suite (in-class experience is acceptable)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsDetail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentCapable of working independently and as a team member under tight deadlines with changing prioritiesCapable of interacting professionally with project owners, contractors, subcontractors, senior leaders and project teamsCommitted to quality and integrityOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organization and time management skillsSelf-motivated and trustworthyCustomer service drivenPreferred Education and Experience:Working knowledge of multiple scheduling software (i.e. Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Deltek Open Plan)Experience working for a general contractor or MEP contractorWe are an equal opportunity employer, and we are an organization that values diversity.
