The university promotes compassionate and integrative care both in the classroom and through its Portland-area Connected Whole Health Clinic. This facility provides valuable hands-on experience for student interns while serving the local community's health needs. Role Description The Dean of Students will oversee student services and support programs, ensuring a positive and inclusive environment that fosters student success. Responsibilities include developing student-centered policies, managing student welfare programs, facilitating student engagement, and resolving complex student issues. The Dean will also collaborate with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders to enhance students' academic, personal, and professional growth. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Gresham, OR, requiring a strong presence on campus. Qualifications Experience in student affairs, academic administration, or higher education leadershipExceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skillsLeadership, strategic planning, and team collaboration abilitiesCommitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiativesProficiency in managing student support services and developing policies and programsProven ability to engage with students, faculty, and other stakeholders to foster a supportive educational environmentMaster’s or higher degree in education, counseling, administration, or a related field; doctoral degree preferredExperience with whole-person health education or a background in health sciences is a plus
