The shift will occur during the day. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. First-timers are accepted. Weekend coverage is required on a variable basis. Some evening, weekend, and holiday call coverage is required. Floating to other facilities may be necessary for coverage. Candidates must reside outside of a specified radius. Seven days of time off restrictions apply. 40 guaranteed hours per week. Candidates should have experience in cardiac catheterization procedures including stent placements and diagnostic catheterizations. Familiarity with electrophysiology studies and interventions is preferred. Understanding of vascular studies is required, including angioplasty and central venous access. Candidates are required to demonstrate accurate monitoring, equipment setup, and preparation of access sites. Professional knowledge in isolation precautions is essential. Candidates should be capable of recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias and maintaining a sterile field during procedures.
