Executive Vice President of Aggregates Operations & Strategic Growth

DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our executive leadership team in Arlington, TX. This role is crucial in driving safety, operational excellence, and strategic growth across our aggregates operations in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana. You will lead and manage operations to ensure top-tier production, efficiency, and quality while emphasizing safety and sustainability. Collaboration with commercial, logistics, and other departments will be essential to achieve our annual targets and long-term objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategic plans to drive safety, sustainability, digitalization, and organizational growth.Partner with commercial and logistics teams to meet annual and long-term goals.Oversee plant operations and heavy mobile equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency and resource management.Plan and execute tactical and strategic initiatives for production, mine planning, maintenance, and performance metrics.Identify and manage short and long-term capital planning projects.Explore and manage acquisition and merger opportunities to expand operations.Enhance and enforce operational procedures, policies, and standards.Analyze reports and financial statements to assess progress and adjust strategies as necessary.Evaluate and mentor management staff to develop future leaders within the organization.Represent the organization at legislative sessions, committee meetings, and other relevant events.Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company guidelines.Essential QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.At least 10 years of progressive management experience in the industry.Strong financial acumen with experience in P&L statements, budgeting, and cost management.Extensive knowledge of the aggregates business, including customers, competitors, and manufacturing processes.Proven experience in managing multiple sites.Excellent project management skills.Experience with digitalization and sustainability in the construction materials sector.Demonstrated success in safety, employee development, change management, and team leadership.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Willingness to travel as needed.Preferred QualificationsMBA or additional post-graduate education, training, or certifications.Well-connected within the industry and trade associations.Experience with various product lines such as aggregates, hot-mix asphalt, ready-mix concrete, and road construction.Work EnvironmentThis role primarily operates in a professional office setting but will also involve visits to manufacturing sites and job locations. Be prepared for conditions including moving mechanical equipment, variable weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels.Employment Type: Full-Time
